Certification Status Definitions
Active
The organization has successfully completed certification and remains in good standing under the Provenance & Integrity Standard.
Under Review
The organization is currently undergoing scheduled evaluation, renewal, or re‑assessment. No certification determination has been issued.
Lapsed — Not Active
The organization did not complete renewal requirements by the designated date. Lapsed certifications may be reinstated following re‑evaluation and approval by the Commission.
Revoked
The Commission has formally withdrawn certification due to non‑compliance with the Standard or misuse of the ATIC Seal. Revoked organizations may re‑apply only after corrective action and Commission approval.
Verification
Certification status may be verified by contacting the Commission directly. ATIC does not issue partial, provisional, or informal verification under any circumstances.
How Organizations Are Listed
An organization appears in the Certification Registry only after:
completing the full evaluation process
meeting all requirements of the Provenance & Integrity Standard
submitting all required documentation
receiving formal approval from the Commission
being granted the right to display the ATIC Seal
ATIC does not list organizations that:
applied but did not complete evaluation
withdrew from the process
failed to meet the Standard
are currently undergoing review
hold no active or historical certification status
This preserves the neutrality, clarity, and institutional integrity of the Registry.
