For the first time in the history of AI standards development, the generation that will live longest with the consequences of how AI is governed today has a seat at the table where it is being written. Through ATIC's chapter network, students conduct institutional research that directly informs the evolution of the world's first AI forensic standard. No other standards body has ever opened its standards development process to the youth of the world.
What the CSF-HS Division Is
The Collegiate Strategy Forum — High School Division is ATIC's high school research body, the institutional home of every secondary school student contributing to the ATIC Standard through an ATIC high school chapter. CSF-HS members are not participants in a program. They are institutionally conferred researchers entrusted with producing work that directly shapes the evolution of the world's first AI forensic standard.

The ATIC high school chapter is the primary institutional unit of the CSF-HS. Every high school that hosts an ATIC chapter is a node in ATIC's national research network, conducting primary and supplementary research projects each semester that feed directly into the ATIC Standard's evolution through ATIC's structured review process.
Every member of an ATIC high school chapter is automatically a member of the Collegiate Strategy Forum — High School Division. Membership is not selective at the chapter level, it is earned through the act of contributing to ATIC's institutional research mission as a chapter member in good standing.
Chapter members conduct institutional research across five categories, AI Literacy and Awareness Research, AI Deployment Documentation Research, Regulatory and Legislative Tracking, AI Governance Gap Analysis, and Public Benefit Impact Research. Every project is tagged to one or more of the ATIC Standards five core principles and reviewed before becoming ATIC institutional work product

CSF-HS exists as the foundational stage of ATIC's generational research pipeline. High school chapter members who demonstrate exceptional contribution and sustained leadership during their secondary school years receive priority consideration for ATIC's collegiate chapter network upon entering university, entering the collegiate research body with an established institutional record and a head start that no other incoming student can replicate.
For students who begin in high school and continue through university ATIC offers the possibility of a seven-year national research arc, four years contributing to ATIC's mission at the high school level and three years at the collegiate level, producing an institutional research record of a depth and duration unmatched by any other youth program in the United States.

CSF-HS exists to identify and elevate the nation's most promising young researchers, build early capacity for integrity-driven institutional contribution, prepare students for collegiate research roles within ATIC's chapter network, strengthen ATIC's generational continuity, and anchor ATIC's public benefit mission in the next generation. CSF-HS members are the future contributors to ATIC's collegiate and national research bodies.

Every student who joins an ATIC high school chapter becomes a member of the Collegiate Strategy Forum — High School Division automatically. There is no separate application for CSF-HS membership; the chapter is the entry point.
