Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of the world’s critical decision‑making infrastructure. As these systems grow more powerful, the public deserves clarity about how they are built, what they rely on, and how institutions can defend the intelligence they deploy.

Later in Q1 of 2026, ATIC will publish the Public Declaration for AI Integrity — a shared statement of principles affirming the importance of provenance, transparency, and public‑benefit governance in modern AI systems. Through this Declaration, ATIC serves as the moral center of the global movement for trustworthy AI, offering a unified foundation for institutions seeking to align their work with integrity.

The Declaration will open for signatures from individuals and institutions across sectors. A public registry will accompany its release, showcasing the diverse coalition of students, educators, researchers, technologists, founders, and public‑benefit organizations who stand behind these principles.

To support organizations that wish to demonstrate their commitment in a visible and enduring way, ATIC will also introduce Local Chapters of the ATIC Declaration. Local Chapters allow schools, companies, and community institutions to host an officially recognized expression of the Declaration within their own environment. Each Chapter receives a ceremonial certificate featuring the ATIC coat of arms in matte gold, their Chapter designation, and their year of establishment. These Chapters extend the reach of the Declaration into physical spaces, reinforcing community alignment and providing a public anchor for integrity‑focused AI development.
