An Institutional Expression of Public Commitment to AI Integrity
Local Chapters of the ATIC Declaration
As the Public Declaration for AI Integrity grows, many organizations seek a way to demonstrate their commitment in a visible, enduring, and community-facing form. The Aston Thomas Integrity Commission formally recognizes Local Chapters of the ATIC Declaration, institutional expressions of the Declaration within individual organizations that serve as public anchors for provenance, transparency, and forensic integrity in AI development.
A Local Chapter is not a symbolic gesture. It is a formal institutional designation that extends the Declaration's presence into physical and organizational spaces, reinforcing that the commitment to lawful, traceable, and defensible AI is not merely a digital signature but a principle embedded in the culture and identity of the hosting organization.
Organizations hosting a Local Chapter publicly affirm the canonical text of the Public Declaration for AI Integrity and commit to maintaining that affirmation as a visible, community-facing expression of their institutional values. Local Chapters do not modify or reinterpret the Declaration. They extend it, bringing its principles into the organizations, communities, and spaces where AI is built and deployed.
What a Local Chapter Represents
Organizations approved as Local Chapters may display the following formal designations:
A ceremonial ATIC Declaration Chapter Certificate issued by the Commission. The ATIC coat of arms rendered in matte white, grey, and aqua blue. Their official Chapter designation — for example, Xurex AI Chapter of the ATIC Declaration. The year of establishment. Their active status within the ATIC Declaration Registry.
Chapter Recognition
Any individual or organization that has signed the Public Declaration for AI Integrity may apply to host a Local Chapter. Chapter applications are reviewed by the Commission on a rolling basis.
Eligibility
Local Chapters exist to provide a visible and enduring public expression of commitment to AI integrity, reinforce institutional alignment with the principles of the Provenance & Integrity Standard, support education and awareness within local communities and organizations, extend the reach of the Declaration beyond digital signatures into physical and institutional spaces, and serve as community anchors demonstrating that responsible AI governance is a shared organizational value rather than an external compliance obligation.
Purpose
All approved Local Chapters are listed in the declaration host registry maintained by the Commission, giving courts, regulators, counterparties, and the public visibility into which organizations have formally committed to the principles of the ATIC Declaration within their institutional communities.
